Keynote Speaker for this year's Convocation is The Rev. Dr. David Lowes Watson.  Nearly 30 years ago, the ministry of Covenant Discipleship was started by Watson when he was doing his doctoral studies at Duke.  A native of England and educated at Oxford University, Eden Theological Seminary, St. Louis, and Duke University, Dr. Watson is also recognized for that brilliant English accent and his narratives in the Disciple series.  Watson served numerous congregations, was director of the Office of Pastoral Formation for the Nashville Area of The UMC and has been extensively published, including Accountable Discipleship, The Early Methodist Class Meeting, Class Leaders: Recovering a Tradition, and God Does Not Foreclose. 

Returning for the fourth year is massage therapist Mary Darby.  Also returning is Spiritual Director Sister Joan Wagner.  From Clifton Springs Integrative Medicine Center for the first time is Kim Santamaria, RN, BSN Energy Nurse Specialist Healing Touch Practitioner Certified Reiki Master, who will lead early morning reflections, as well as hourly Reiki/healing touch sessions.
